Pylontech Fidus 5kwh Li-ion Battery

The Pylontech Fidus is a 5.12kWh low-voltage (LV) battery module designed for residential and light commercial energy storage . It is built using durable, long-lasting LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) technology and is engineered to be installed in a wider variety of locations than typical indoor batteries .

• Scalable & Flexible Design: A single Fidus module has a nominal capacity of 5.12 kWh, but the system is highly expandable. It can be configured from a minimum of 5kWh up to 600kWh (1-120 modules) in a single system, making it suitable for both small homes and larger commercial setups . It supports wall, ground, and rack mounting options .

• Outdoor-Ready Durability: With a robust IP65 protection rating and a high-level C5-M anti-corrosion certification, the Fidus is built to withstand harsh weather conditions, including rain, dust, and even salty coastal environments .

• High Performance: The module operates at a nominal voltage of 51.2V and supports continuous charge/discharge at 100A (1C rate) . This allows it to supply or absorb up to 5kW of power steadily, with a peak capability of 121A-200A for 15 seconds. Its 97% depth of discharge (DoD) and >6,000 cycle life (with a 10-year design life) provide excellent usable capacity and long-term reliability.

• Resilient in Extreme Cold: To ensure performance in cold climates, a Nordic version is available that is rated for operation down to -20°C during discharge and charge. A Fidus PRO version is also available with integrated self-heating to maintain functionality in sub-zero environments.
